Dear Parents/Guardians:
Greetings! My name is Jocelyn Miller-Maldonado, known as Ms. Maldonado here at West Bronx Academy, and I am the 7th grade mathematics teacher. Although we are facing many challenges, please rest assured that I will do my utmost to support your child’s progress towards meeting the New York State Common Core Learning Standards for Mathematics.
In your child’s math class on Google Classroom you will find a copy of the syllabus and an assignment entitled Syllabus. In the assignment, there is a Google Form to fill out. Your child will receive classwork credit for submitting the completed form. On the syllabus, you will find information on the course content, assignments, grading, materials/resources. behavioral expectations and academic expectations. Please take the time to review the syllabus with your child.
