Leah Ostrander - English as a New Language (ENL)

I am an ENL (English as a New Language) teacher at West Bronx Academy. This is my second year teaching here at WBA, and I teach in both the middle school and high school. I work with students who are developing their English language proficiency and support them in their core classes (ELA, math, science and social studies).

When I’m not teaching, I love to be outside and to tend to my large collection of houseplants!

I earned a BA degree in Linguistics from University of Vermont (2017) and a MSEd in Second Language Education from SUNY New Paltz (2019).
