On this website you will find resources and links that you will need for this academic year.  Please review the syllabus for details about the topics we will cover and grading policy.  

 

Please remember, I place a huge emphasis on dialogue.  If you are struggling with something, please let me know.  I'm flexible and will work with you to help you succeed.  In addition I will have official office hours, but we can make an appointment for me to help you whenever it is convenient for you. 

 

 

My name is Daniel Vega and my pronouns are he/him/his.  I'm a Puerto Rican American male and I am originally from Queens, but I'm happy to call The Bronx my home now.  I graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in Queens and received my Bachelor's from Queens College, where I double majored in Political Science and Economics.  I received my Master's Degree from Mercy College in Secondary Math Education 7-12.

Personally, I enjoy nearly all sports, especially Basketball, Baseball, and Football which I grew up playing, and Soccer, which I grew to love later in life.  I'm a Knicks fan (poor me), a Mets and Yankees fan, a Giants fan, and a Manchester United fan.  I grew up a Hip Hop and R&B listener, especially Nas and Biggie.  Now I consider myself a fan of J Cole and Khalid.  On a personal day you might catch me spending time with family or friends, educating myself, on my bike, on Xbox, or bingeing something on one of the many platforms I subscribe to.  I also love to travel and learn.
